Value

Maximum value is $5,000. Instalments of $2,500 are payable in trimester 1 and 2, provided conditions are met.

Separate from this scholarship, the successful recipient will also have the opportunity to apply for the OakView Financial Pty Ltd work experience or vacation placement program.

Payment

Payments are made up to six weeks after the census date subject to the recipient maintaining ongoing eligibility requirements.

To remain eligible for the scholarship, recipients will be required to:

• maintain full-time enrolment in the approved Griffith Business School undergraduate degree with an Accounting major
• maintain a minimum GPA of 4.5.

A scholarship recipient may take a leave of absence in accordance with university policy. Scholarship benefits are suspended for the prior of leave of absence.

The recipient may also be invited to meet with the donor and feature in marketing materials to promote the scholarship.

The above conditions are verified each trimester at census date. If a scholarship recipient fails to successfully meet these conditions, it is at the discretion of the Scholarship Selection Committee to withhold the trimester instalment or terminate the scholarship. The recipient must show cause to the Scholarships Office why the scholarship should not be cancelled.

Applications, including any supporting documentation, must be completed and submitted by the closing date.

Applicants may be required to provide additional information. The scholarship selection panel may request short-listed candidates be interviewed.

Griffith University reserves the right to withdraw an advertised scholarship at any time.
