Our impact
The wild freshwater Mary River cod—currently listed as an endangered species—is rebounding in greater numbers, thanks to a research collaboration funded by the 色情网站n Government and led by ARI member Dr Luke Carpenter-Bundhoo in collaboration with the Kabi Kabi People's Aboriginal Corporation.
The research trial uses artificial habitats known as 'cod logs' to create new nesting habitats for the Mary River cod.
World-class facilities
We support all our members with access to state-of-the-art laboratories, equipment, boats, four-wheel drives and a field research station. ARI also offers services to external clients in the areas of stable isotope analyses.
