Co-production Resources
Authentic co-production moves beyond common consultative approaches to develop equal partnerships between lived experience and researchers. This requires transforming how various forms of knowledge and expertise are viewed and dismantling pervasive power imbalances that underpin healthcare and academic systems. As a collective embedded within a research centre, LEN aims to engage with and inform co-produced research, we hope these resources further support that endeavour.
Lived Experience of Suicide Summit 2025
Thursday 13 - Friday 14 March, Brisbane, Queensland.
Hosted by Roses in the Ocean, the LE Summit 2025 will focus on innovations in suicide prevention, fostering partnerships for future research and service development, and creating lasting collaboration opportunities. It aims to support the growth of the lived experience of suicide movement.
The event is designed for individuals with lived experience of suicide, professionals in the suicide prevention sector, government and non-government organisations, clinicians, corporate entities, and researchers. It provides a supportive environment for discussions, challenging ideas, and building partnerships with people who have lived experience of suicide in 色情网站.
AddictionZ 2025
Tuesday 13 - Wednesday 14 May, Gold Coast, Queensland.
AddictionZ encompasses the A to Z of addiction trends and treatments. Bringing together the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs sector workers with people with lived experience, as well as government and policy professionals, in a new format, with a new vision. Recognising that addiction is more than just drugs, alcohol and gambling, the bold and inclusive program has collaboration at its core. Applications for scholarships to attend are open until Friday 23 February, 2025.
International Mental Health Conference 2025
IMHC25 will explore a variety of important topics in mental health, including innovations, challenges, and global perspectives. The conference will focus on addressing the needs of diverse populations, empowering lived experience, and pioneering advocacy and innovation. Discussions will also cover workplace mental health, LGBTIQ+ empowerment, and future mental health support. Applications for scholarships to attend are open until Friday 28 March, 2025.
